Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Directors

The Harbor Annex

Board Members Present: Kelly Stelzer, Bob Shively, Dave Kalshoven, Steve Globerman, Steve Hill

Board Members Absent: None

Other Association Members Present: General membership - 0

Dave Kalshoven called the meeting to order at 6:33 pm

April 2006 Board meeting minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved


Old Business

• Out-Lots Deed - there is currently no assessment associated – Kelly Stelzer will find out if this is true for future and will verify that there will no current or future taxes associated with Northlake maintaining out-lots – with regard to out lot 7, Steve Hill will contact Chuck Nahn to find out who did the estimates
• Green Space behind Korosec yard – Steve Hill has agreed to spread dirt and seed on the hill behind the Korosec house
• Burned Out Lights at Indigo Way entrance – Kelly Stelzer will call an electrician to repair or replace
• Tree Trimming along County Q out-lot – this was completed by Four Leaf
• ACC Task Force update – Steve Hill will contact Dave Shields and request him to be at the June NNABOD meeting and present task force recommendations / proposals

New Business

• Board VP replacement due to Larry Andrews resignation as Vice President – Bob Shively nominated Steve Hill for VP of NNABOD – Steve Globerman second – vote was unanimously approved
• Responding to e-mails in Kelly’s absence 5/26/06 thru 6/17/06 – as VP Steve Hill will respond in Kelly’s absence
• Dave Kalshoven will contact attorney Greg Siebold advising him that only Kelly Stelzer, Bob Shively and Dave Kalshoven are authorized to discuss legal issues on behalf of NNA
• Addition of 2006 Budget and balance sheets to the website - Kalshoven will update and send to Tanya to post on web site

Finance Committee:
2006 Dues – Dues notices – Dave advised 2006 dues are due end of May – 117 home owners have already paid – e-mail blast will be sent out to home owners as a explaining why dues went up to $110 and as a reminder when dues are due - it has been determined that the one lot that has not paid 2005 dues has a tenant living in the house, the home owner will be contacted to pay past due dues

Task Force:
Steve Hill will contact Dave Shields to request a task force report at the April 2006 board meeting.

Safety Committee:
No report.

Architectural Control Committee:
Update – The ACC would like to put out an e mail blast reminding home owners about bi laws for RV’s and boats

Communications Committee:
Update – Communication will go out notifying home owners of special meeting of NNABOD meeting to fill two vacancies

Social Committee:
Update – none

Neighborhood Maintenance:
Update – tree have been trimmed – Basset has done clean up and mulch at Indigo Way entrance – they will be back end May to plant annuals

• Northlake Neighborhood Association next and future board meetings will be at The Harbor Annex located at 2711 Allen Blvd (corner of Allen Blvd and Century Ave).
• Dates and time will continue to be the third Monday of the month as follows:
  Monday, June 19, 2006
  Monday, July 17, 2006
  Monday, August 21, 2006
  Monday, September 18, 2006
  Monday, October 16, 2006
  Monday, November 20, 2006 annual meeting

Dave Kalshoven motioned to adjourned meeting at 8:00 pm – Steve Globerman second – meeting adjourned
