Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Directors

Monday, December 12, 2005
Middleton Public Library

Board Members Present: Chuck Nahn, Dave Kalshoven, Dave Halberslaben, Ron Scheinin, Steve Globerman

Board Members Absent: Mandla Tshabalala, Steve Hill

Other Association Members Present: General membership - 34, Proxies - 29

Chuck Nahn called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

There were no minutes from the November 2005 Board meeting to review or approve

New Business

• Opened nominations for Northlake Neighborhood Association Board of Directors. Nominees were: Bob Shively, Kelly Stelzer and Larry Andrews. All three unanimously elected to NNABOD.
• Opened nominations for Northlake Neighborhood ACC. Nominees were: Beth Korosec and Bob DuPont.

Old Business

Finance Committee:
Dave Kalshoven advised that the 2006 budget would be submitted in January 2006.

Communications Committee:
Jamie and Tanya Buchanan are looking for a PHP programmer to assist with the Northlake Neighborhood Association web site

Task Force:
An all-volunteer task force was selected to review the Northlake Neighborhood Association covenants. Dave Schield will chair this five-member committee. The other task force volunteers are Beth Korosec, Karl Wackerle, Tony Kern and Bob DuPont. Planned course of action: Task force will make initial recommendation to the Board at the February 2006 Board meeting. The Board will review with legal counsel and plan to submit task force recommendation to the neighborhood association at the March 2006 Board meeting.

Closed Session

• Beth Korosec and Bob DuPont were interviewed by the Board and subsequently appointed to the ACC.
• Officers were elected for 2006 by the Board.

• Various committee liaisons from the Board were resolved.
Maintenance - Kelly Stelzer
Safety - Steve Globerman

ACC - Bob Shively
• Ron Scheinin will reserve the Middleton Public Library for January 16, 2006 and February 20, 2006. (January meeting was subsequently scheduled for January 23, 2006)

The meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
