Review and approval of August 2005 minutes – the minutes were unanimously approved
Old Business
Pool/Fence issue:
Nahn reported on the results of a teleconference he and Dave Halberslaben held with
attorney, Greg Seybold. Listening in on the teleconference was Rebecca Krintz of Murphy
and Desmond. The essence of the attorney’s opinion was that the NNA cannot deny
installation of pools or fences just because other property owners did not like them.
In addition, it was the attorney’s opinion that the pool on Savannah Court was too far
along for the NNA to delay construction. With regards to the Monarch Court pool,
construction was, to all intents and purposes, considered approved even though the
applicants had only one signature from the ACC (that of Annette Plante-Hogoboom)
New Business
Election of BOD candidates:
Ron Scheinin, Steve Hill, and Steve Globerman were elected by unanimous vote to fill
the three vacancies in the Board of Directors.
Call for candidates to serve on the ACC:
The NNA BOD unanimously resolved that an announcement be made calling for candidates
to serve on the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Interested candidates should
submit their names to the secretary of the NNA BOD
Changes to the covenants:
The NNA BOD unanimously resolved to set up a task group to review and propose changes
to the covenants. Interested candidates should submit their names to the secretary of
the NNA BOD.
Pool/Fence policy statement:
The NNA BOD unanimously resolved to develop a draft pool/fence policy statement to
be considered at the October NNA monthly meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
