Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Directors

Board Members Present: Dave Halberslaben, Beth Korosec, Michelle Larson, Chuck Nahn, Dawn Pilolla, Carl Wackerle

Board Members Absent: Mark Melum

Other Association Members Present: Jamie Buchanan, Tanya Buchanan, Bob Fleischacker

Committee Updates
    Architectural Control Committee:
      Jamie Buchanan distributed Northlake Neighborhood ACC - Summary. He also distributed drafts of letters to be sent to Association members in violation of Northlake Neighborhood Covenants. Discussion ensued. It was agreed that Dave Holman and Greg Seibold should approve any correspondence regarding Covenant violations.

      Korosec moved that the ACC create a letter that all Association members will receive that outlines the future procedure that will be followed in order to ensure compliance with the Covenants. Larson seconded the motion. The motion for the ACC to create and send a letter to Association members was unanimously approved.

    Landscape Committee:
      Beth Korosec reported that the Landscaping Committee met a second time to assign tasks in order to prepare for the initial clean up of the neighborhood planting beds. Committee members, along with spouses, children and other neighbors, completed the cleaning-up, planting and mulch spreading in the planting beds on Saturday, May 17. The Committee will not meet again until fall. Until then, members will continue to maintain the planting beds.

    Communications Committee:
      Tanya Buchanan indicated that 91 responses have been received to the survey distributed by the Communication Committee. She stated that a second request for information would be distributed. Buchanan continued by reporting that newscasters have been designated throughout the neighborhood. The Communication Committee hopes to recruit at least two more newscasters - one for Grassland Trail and one for Southeast Sandhill. She distributed a copy of the correspondence sent to the newscasters on May 7. Buchanan concluded by indicating that the web site received 3,825 hits in April.
